Quick Ghost Drawing

Due to it being October I decided to do a small drawing and little animation of two ghosts. It was a small project that took really no time at all due to it being so simple and turned out really cute.  I know as soon as I was finished drawing the two ghosts that I have to mess with them in Photoshop and animate a quick two slide animation of them floating. This is one of my favorite things that I have made and it's just a bonus that others adore them too.

2D Monster Front/Side View

A practice of a monster creature with front and side view. Monsters are not something I draw often and I decided to give it a shot because it was something new and I like exploring and drawing childish like creatures. I would say he turned out fairly well although I did not add his feet in the side view nor attempted to add his arm either. It was a first attempt at a monster and drawing one in both views. I go back to fix him and even color him quite often and I have given him the name, Buggaboo.

Child Concept Sketches

These are concept sketches of a child like character and one the one far right is the possible chosen one to be worked with and given a side and back view and then fully colored.The one on the far right is chosen because of it's small nature and the fact that it can be worked to be more childish as the others are taller and look to be much too old to be a child. I must admit it is a challenge to do character studies as it seems as though my art style changes every time I draw something. I'm hoping it's an issue I can get under control with this mentorship class.
